Adjust is a mobile measurement partner (MMP), a company that helps marketers grow their mobile apps with solutions for measuring and optimizing campaigns and protecting user data.

You can pass clicks and conversions from Reach to Adjust and back, using just one link.

Before you begin

Integration flow

  1. Go to link generation page: https://partners.adjust.com/.

  2. Get a tracking link (and event list, if necessary) on your Adjust panel. Find more information here.

  3. Copy the tracking link and put it in the Enter your links field on the link generation page. The Adjust tracking link must contain a token (abc341 on the screenshot above - it is an example). Don't add the {click_id} macro to the link.

  4. Take the Reach postback link. Check the article to see where to get it. If you have just one goal in your campaign, proceed to step 5. If you have more than one goal in your campaign, proceed to step 6.

  5. Copy the Reach postback link and put it in the Your Callbacks > Install field to create a postback for a campaign, where you have only one goal value. You may update the Reach postback link with Reach parameters and Adjust macros. Proceed to the step 8.

  6. Copy the Reach postback link, update it with the goal={goal_value}, where {goal_value} is an event name, to add a postback link for a campaign, where you have different goal values, which you want to track.

  7. Put the Reach postback link for a particular goal (event) in the Event field with the token for this particular goal (event). Each event has its own token on Adjust: make sure you insert the right token.

  8. Copy the generated URL in the Generated URLs field.

  9. Insert the link as your tracking URL on Reach.

  10. Insert the same link as your postback link on Adjust.

Keep in mind the following peculiarities:

  • If you inserted a postback link for a campaign, where there are more than one goal value to the Install field on Adjust, such a postback will have the Declined status, because Reach can't define which goal you want to track.

  • If you inserted a postback link with the Registration goal value but by mistake put a token for the Purchase goal value you will receive conversions with the Registration goal value.
