Campaign privacy helps you control the visibility of a campaign for a publisher. All campaigns on Reach are public by default, but you can make them private.

It is important to define the privacy. If it is a public, all its details are visible to a publisher, so he can apply for it immediately. However, publishers don't see private campaigns. If you want to offer a campaign to a certain publisher, it is better to make it private.

Making it private can help you if you already know which publishers can send the most suitable traffic to a target page of a campaign. If the campaign is private, you can invite a chosen publisher to work with it.

Campaign privacy on Reach

Privacy is set up in the campaign: Campaigns > a certain campaign > Privacy & Security.

where:

  • Privacy: the privacy level of the campaign: public or private.

Your publishers see a private campaign if you invited them to work with it, or if they already work with it.

If you paused a partnership, your publishers still see your private campaigns.
