Postback link is used to let you receive information about conversion. With the help of the postback link you can see conversions on your external system, as well as different type of data: amount of earned money, an event (a target action), conversion status on an advertiser's side on Reach, etc.

To receive information via a postback link, you need to add parameters from your external system (the system where you want to see conversions) and macros by Reach. Reach doesn't provide a link itself.

Postback link on Reach

Postback link is set up in your profile: Automation > Postbacks > Add new link.
โ€‹
โ€‹

where:

  • Choose statuses: a conversion status, which the postback link is triggered for. It is possible to choose all statuses.

  • Choose campaigns: a campaign which you have a signed contract with.

  • Choose methods: a method of sending a request to your system:

    • GET: works by loading a URL with all the parameters in the query string.

    • POST: works by entering the body of the request instead of in the query string.

    The postback link example:

    http://postback.example.com?ref={click_id}&status=3

  • Postback link: the link itself with all needed parameters and macros.

  • Note: a comment about the postback for your needs.
